Rehab to Home Program

Get back to your active and independent lifestyle with the help of our personalized care. We offer a variety of therapies, whether you're transitioning from the hospital or simply have needs that require continuous care. Allow our experienced therapists to advocate for you and assist you as we help you make decisions that serve your best interests.

Innovative Therapies

Our It's Never Too Late (IN2L) system provides tremendous therapeutic applications, if you're staying with us for a short time or long-term. IN2L converts your favorite activities into therapies for hand/eye coordination and cognitive and motor skills. Some of these include playing bingo, working a jigsaw puzzle, emailing family and friends and much more. Best of all, these therapies can accommodate your physical requirements, whether you need to be sitting, standing, or lying down.

High Success Rate

The vast majority of our program participants are able to return home in a shorter time, with many achieving a full recovery. We have proven results in the areas of physical, occupational and speech therapies that we hope will inspire you every step of the way. We send home on average more than 150 residents annually through our successful Rehab To Home Program.

LSVT BIG & LOUD Program

The therapy team at Brethren Retirement Community is excited to see the success of the program now being offered called LSVT BIG® . The LSVT BIG® program is a research-based exercise approach that has an emphasis on “BIG” movements. It is based on the principle that the brain can learn and change. Patients attend 1 hour treatment sessions four times a week for four weeks. The sessions include key exercises and tasks designed to improve movement in those who have Parkinson’s disease and ultimately slow the progression of the disease. LSVT BIG® challenges the impaired systems in the brain and uses techniques that target Parkinson’s disease deficits. LSVT BIG® includes the fundamentals of amplitude, intensity, high effort, and generalization.
